I have explored many subjects and experimented with a variety of media in my career as an artist. I like to make political statements about my feelings on a variety of subjects like feminism and religion. Recently I have been doing a series on African tribal costuming and it's symbolism. I also love painting people and capturing what I see as their essence. My art reflects my interests at the time and I have experimented with several styles. I work predominantly in oil and like to build up a very rich, thick texture to my work. My interest in travelling has given me a wealthy amount of scenes and subject matter to paint as well.
