I have always loved to create. As a child I would draw on the school bus, at the dinner table, pretty much all the time. I am so blessed to be able to say that my work is also my play. I mean ....what I must do to make a living is also what I most want to do. How lucky I am.
I am passionate about my subjects and seek to paint the truth in what I see while adding a touch of my own spirit to my work. My hope is to engage you with compositions that evoke strong feelings in you. Accurate drawing skills, sound painting techniques are the foundation of my paintings.
Although realistic depictions are my main goal, it is also important that the subject I've painted "feels" like I have captured it’s soul. As an artist, I want to share my passion with those who appreciate the beauty, hope and inspiration that art can offer.
